ROCMELIA 2001 is the
fifth one of the international
multimedia
language education conference series which
is organized by
ROCMELIA. The conference serves to foster
and encourage the
creation and application of computer
assisted
multimedia technology in language education.
The First
International Conference on Multimedia Language
Education,
ROCMELIA'97, was held at the Chinese Navy Academy
in Kaohsiung City
in 1997, which enjoyed participation of
more than 400
attendees. The Second International
Conference on
Multimedia Language Education, ROCMELIA'98,
was held at the
Chinese Military Academy in Kaohsiung
County in 1998,
which also enjoyed participation from
different areas
of expertise ranging from computer
technology to
language education. ROCMELIA'99
was
co-sponsored by
ROCMELIA and the National Kaohsiung
First University
of Science and Technology.
ROCMELIA 2000
was held by
ROCMELIA and Yuan
Ze University. And the
contents
consisted of
seven languages: English, Spanish, German,
French, Japanese,
Mandarin Chinese, and Taiwanese.
Like the previous
four international conferences, this conference
welcomes good
papers and courseware written
for any
languages. In order to enable more people to understand
your efforts,
please write and present your paper
in English or
Chinese.

The Paper
Format
Each
paper should include a title, the author's name, affiliation, and email
address,
a 300-word
abstract, key words, the main text and references. Submitted papers
should contain
not more than 13 pages and must be written in English or Chinese.
Chinese papers
should include an English title and abstract. The text should be
single-spaced,
with the 8.5" x 11" layout. The letter
font and size
should be 12-point Times New Roman.
The paper should be
in MS-Word
format. Accepted papers will be
published in the proceedings,
with the
understanding that the author should register.
